Primary School Triathlon with the Brownlee Brothers

The Brownlee Brothers are inviting Bradford primary school pupils to a flagship event in Bradford, to take part in a triathlon experience and to meet two truly inspirational international sportsmen. Its is free to participate.

We arehappy to notify you of a wonderful opportunity for your pupils to be involved in a Triathlon experience day with Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee and to meet two truly inspirational sportsmen.

This will be a flagship event of the Brownlee Foundation in Bradford which has been set up by Alistair and Jonny so they can give something back to the community. The event is for Key Stage 2 pupils and is free.

Your pupils will have an opportunity to try the disciplines of the triathlon and will swim 25m, cycle 1k and run 400M (all distances are approx.). Bikes and helmets will be provided, please note that children taking part must be able to swim at least 25m. The event staff will be fully qualified and overseen by the British Triathlon Association. The number of schools for this particular event will be limited in order to ensure that all children have the opportunity to meet Alistair and Jonny. There are still some places available. Schools wishing to participate are invited to register an interest by emailing; phil.wagner@bradford.gov.uk.

Please give an indication of how many children you would like to bring (the maximum is 20). Your school will then receive confirmation of your time slot and full details for the day.
