Children with complex needs and statements of SEN are increasingly educated in mainstream classrooms.

This often challenges teachers both in terms of planning for these children and demonstrating progress.  This course will support teaching staff to explore best practice in this area and gain valuable skills.

 

 

Intended outcomes for participants:

At the end of the course, participants will:

  1. Have a shared understanding of children with complex needs
  2. Feel confident in using a variety of tools to show progress
  3. Be able to record progress effectively and set appropriate targets
