Bikes now available for employees through the Cycle to Work Scheme

If you’ve been inspired by the Tour de Yorkshire, now’s the perfect time to get yourself a brand new bike and make savings through the Cycle to Work Scheme.

The Scheme allows employees to take advantage of the Government’s tax free Cycle to Work initiative. This allows for you to choose a bike of your choice and through easy monthly payroll reductions could save you up to 47% on the cost.

The scheme is open for applications between 1 May to 28 May 2015.  Simply visit www.benefitsbrochure.com and follow the on-screen instructions to secure yourself a bike.

While the link is open you will be able to access a range of bikes in an online orders portal.  Alternatively there are also a range of local stores (that are listed on the website) that are participants in the scheme where you will also be able to get access to a bike through the scheme.

The bicycle is intended to be used mainly for work journeys, but there is no need to keep records of these journeys. The bicycle can also be used recreationally by you and any member of your family.

Unfortunately the scheme is only open to Bradford Council Employees so is not available to academy and free school staff as they are not employed by the Council. If your school is considering changing status in the next 12 months to a non-council controlled school please also do not apply.
