The competition final is a black tie event that this year will be held at Cineworld, Leisure Exchange Bradford. All shortlisted entries will be shown on the big screen during an awards ceremony. Children, teachers and parents are invited to make up the
audience and vote for the winners who are presented with an 'Oscar' and a prize.
This year’s final will be held on the morning of Monday 6 July.
There are three age ranges for the competition - Key Stage 1, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6. Entries are split into categories as follows - visual story, animation and film. The category ‘visual story’ expands on the Photostory 3 category from previous years. Entries
for this category combine images and sounds into a short film using any software including Photostory 3.
We also introduced a new photograph category in 2013. This year each school can enter one quality photograph per age range based on the theme of 'School is Cool’. Note - schools must have entered at least one other category
to take part in the photography category.
