Reading and Language Intervention (RLI) coffee morning

On Thursday 30th April, 10am til 12pm we are holding an informal meeting at the Pamela Sunter Centre, Bingley to discuss the RLI programme.

Reading, Language Intervention for children with Down  syndrome.

In Feb and March this year we delivered the 6 hour training course on how to use this programme. This is a follow up session to offer support to any schools who are using, or wanting to use, the intervention.

The RLI programme, detailed in a teacher’s handbook and DVD developed and produced by Down Syndrome Education International, provides a systematic structured approach via daily activities that can be finely adapted to each child.

The morning will focus on grading books and taking running records and also be an opportunity for staff to share experiences.
