Autistic Spectrum Condition and children with Down syndrome

FREE training day 30 April 2015 in Manchester. The day will provide essential information for practitioners, as well as raise awareness of the children’s needs, family needs and the services that support them.

There is growing body of information about dual diagnosis of autism spectrum condition (ASC) and Down Syndrome, and initiatives to improve support for families with children with complex needs.  At one of the Down's Syndrome Association's (DSA national charity) ASC DS meetings (details here) participants asked us to arrange training to provide essential information for practitioners, as well as to raise awareness of the children’s needs, family needs and the services that support them.

The DSA is pleased to be able to offer training for practitioners on 30 April and for parents and carers on 1 May in Manchester.

The events in Manchester are free of charge as they are being funded by a donation.
