Using iPads Creatively to raise attainment and engagement in Key Stage 2

On this one-day Curriculum Innovation course to be held at the Design Exchange, Little Germany, delegates will gain a clear understanding about how iPads can be utilised effectively to engage learners, develop creativity and raise attainment specifically in English and Mathematics.

They will be able to make informed choices with regard to selecting appropriate content and apps to encourage personalised independent learning for all their pupils.

We will analyse and discuss the key issues schools face when utilising iPads in the classroom including managing and deploying content and apps to devices.  Delegates will explore a range of iPad techniques and apps focused on raising attainment across the  curriculum but specifically in English and Mathematics.

They will understand how iPads can be used effectively to capture images/video and how this can be stored and shared to demonstrate understanding, allow peer to peer review and lead to flipped and blended learning opportunities.
