The exhibition is organised by Bradford Action for Refugees, Sanctuary in Schools (part of Bradford City of Sanctuary) and the Zephaiah Trust, as part of the city-wide Refugee Week celebrations. We are hoping to build on the success of our 2014 'What is
As well as work from schools, there will also be exhibits from asylum seeker / refugee groups and from established artists. We hope that the two closely linked themes will give plenty of scope for interpretation by adult artists and older students but still
provide an accessible starting point for primary age children.
A small taster exhibition will be available to tour schools, staying a week in each, from 13 April to 10 June.
The deadline for the submission of registratiion forms for the exhibition is 13 March 2015. If you are interested in submitting work, hosting the touring exhibition or visiting the full exhibition at Kala Sangam please get in touch with
