Next PFE on 28 Januray 2015

The topic is: 16 to 20 - How can schools, Higher Education and Further Education institutions and families support young people into employment?” The forum will take place on Wednesday 28 January 2015 at 4pm at Keighley Campus, Leeds City College.

Speakers will explore:-

·      How careers and technical education can create pathways for young people into work

·      How Further and Higher Education can better prepare young people for work

·      How the Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering is preparing young people for work.

·      How can parents support their sons and daughters through further and higher education?

The Public Forum for Education is a fantastic opportunity to hear about and share good practice. Discussions from the forum contribute to policy making in the district, so we want to hear your views. Anyone with an interest is welcome, so please publicise through your networks and bring friends and colleagues.  I have attached a flyer for this purpose; I would be grateful if this can be displayed in your reception or wherever appropriate.

Anyone interested in attending this PFE meeting should phone Heidi Hardy on (01274) 434335 or e-mail the reply slip to Public.Forum.for.Education@bradford.gov.uk or fax the reply slip to (01274) 431784.
