Into Film is a film education charity that puts film at the heart of the educational & personal development of children & young people aged 5-19 across the UK. Our Media Literacy project has worked with over 30 schools in the last 3 years & has evidence
showing that progress in writing is accelerated through the use of film in the classroom. Pupils involved achieved on average 4 sub-levels of progress in writing & reading by the end of the year project & children have been more focussed & engaged in their
Literacy lessons. There are presently two qualified local Into Film trainers; Tim Bleazard, Curriculum Innovation Team, & independent Literacy Consultant Philip Webb. Tim has coordinated & delivered the Bradford Media Literacy project for the last three years
with the assistance Phil.
Training sessions focus on either Film Literacy or Film Making. Ideally sessions need a minimum of fifteen attendees. For more information please contact
