This course will address speaking and listening and AfL in response to issues that may be raised by teachers who have a big number of EAL pupils
The course will look at ways in which speaking and listening and AfL can be maximised in the classroom to enhance both cognitive development and language acquisition for pupils with English as an additional language.
There will be opportunities to look at assessment for learning strategies maximizing speaking and listening and pair work.
There will also be an open forum on raising bi-lingual pupils’ achievement and
participants will be encouraged to share concerns and discuss solutions.
