New course for Autumn 2014 - Developing Confidence to Take Learning and Play Outdoors, plus What a Quality Environment for 2 Year Olds Looks Like and two Visitor Days

Courses at St Edmund’s this term include:

Developing Confidence to Take Learning and Play Outdoors (Saturday 29th November 11.00am – 1.00pm): Extend practitioner skills in using the wider outdoors with young children.

What a Quality Environment for 2 Year Olds Looks Like (Friday 7th November 1.00 – 3.30 or Thursday 27th November 3.30 - 6.00pm): The course focusses specifically on the needs of 2 year olds and is ideal for schools offering 2 Year Old places for the first time.

Visitor Days (Wednesday 22nd October 9.00 – 11.30am and Wednesday 19th November 1.00 – 3.30pm): Our visitor days allow early years practitioners, teachers, students and others to see an outstanding nursery in operation.

Our Hands On Learning courses offer a new and innovative approach to training:

• Help set up a rich learning environment

• Work alongside a practitioner delivering outstanding practice

• Observe real adult-child interactions

• Try it out for yourself

• Evaluate children’s learning

We can also provide bespoke training and consultancy for any school or setting.
