When you decide your school will be closing due to severe weather or other possible disruptions, it’s important to follow your council’s process to notify them of the closure.
Greatest Hits Radio West Yorkshire and Pulse 1 have an online web service directing listeners to the appropriate source of information for their school. We will in turn be using these sources to provide us with the closure information we need to keep the
Bradford area informed.
Our bulletins contain local news, sport, traffic and weather information for life in Bradford and the rest of West Yorkshire. On these mornings where severe weather conditions are impacting schools, we will have a strong focus on this information with frequent
bulletins in our weekday breakfast
programmes, followed by hourly local news and weather through the day.
Please inform parents/carers to check our website & listen on air for the latest information. We’ve included a
poster/flyer that can go on the notice board as well as being sent home with pupils.
