Join us for the launch of theSpace Chase Summer Reading Challenge 2019
with Children’s author Hilary Robinson withJasper Space Dog!

Ilkley Library
Hilary will be reading and chatting about her new book Jasper Space Dog!
which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the first landing on the Moon. Find out about the adventures of Jasper, who wants to be the first dog to visit the Moon, and his long-suffering owner, Charlie. The book has been widely researched interweaving
historical fact in an accessible, fun story. It also uses dyslexia-friendly font.

The event is open to classes from Y3 & Y4. We are inviting four schools to each bring up to 10 pupils. The children will not only meet and listen to Hilary Robinson, but will also have the opportunity to be the first to start the Summer Reading Challenge
and as a special treat Hilary has said copies of her book will be available for £5 (Usually £6.99).
