Specialist Leaders in Education

SLE'S ARE REQUIRED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR BETWEEN 5 - 15 DAYS A YEAR TO SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF:

• Initial Teacher Training - delivering Shanidar School Direct programme

• Continuous Professional Development - (delivering training for existing teachers as part of the Shanidar programme of JPD courses in SEND)

• School-to-School Support - providing coaching support for another school in an area of SEND using the Whole School SEND framework

• SEND research - leading SEND / SEMH research projects and sharing findings

SLE work is costed at £300 per day and is commissioned by Shanidar TSA to deliver the above programme of SEND support in Bradford using a variety of funding sources.

WE ARE HOLDING AN SLE INFORMATION EVENT ON TUESDAY 11TH JUNE, 3.45 - 4.45PM AT SOUTHFIELD GRANGE CAMPUS FOR STAFF WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THIS OPPORTUNITY AND WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT MORE.
