Ofsted’s next monitoring visit of Children’s Social Care will take place on the 11 and 12 of June. The visit will focus on Children in Need, Child Protection and Public Law Outline (PLO). Our colleagues in Children's Social Care will be working to demonstrate that children in our district are safe,
We do not anticipate that Inspectors will want to speak to schools, however they will be looking at individual cases and tracking them which could result in them wanting to talk to schools if they felt this was needed. Whilst we know there is still a lot of work to do and that we have a long way to go, we are hoping to continue to build on the progress to date and that we want to thank schools for their on-going support in our improvement journey.
