COURSE DESCRIPTION
Preparing for Relationships Education in the Primary School.
Working with the latest DfE Guidance and publications from other educational platforms, delegates will gain an insight into the changes their schools need to be addressing in preparation for statutory RSE, September 2020.
There will be a focus on the content of Relationships Education and how this fits within the PSHE curriculum. Information will be shared about updating policies as well as ensuring there is a whole school approach to RSE.
During the morning delegates will have the opportunity to observe a Southfield School 'Relationships' lesson to Key stage 3 SEND students.
Delegates will leave with information to share with colleagues and parents as well as signposts to resources which are available to prepare their school for successful Relationships Education.
