Time: - | Venue:

Do you have talented students or a talented Art Department and a helpful Design and Technology Department that would like to be part of this year’s Bradford Science Festival. If so, we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for an individual or group to create a photo peep booth. Those similar to ones you may find at Blackpool where families can put their heads through holes and take a photo to remember the day.

What do you need to know

  • Bradford Science Festival takes place on 20th & 21st July 2019
  • Bradford Science Festival takes place between the Broadway, City Park and National Science and Media Museum
  • 2019 marks 50 years since the first humans landed on the Moon

Therefore, the design will include a Moon Landing theme with two or more astronauts available for             festival visitors to put their faces through holes in the helmets for photographs to be taken by             others. To link to Bradford, we thought the City Hall could interpreted to look like a space rocket

However, if you have any ideas we will gladly welcome those

  • We would expect the design to accommodate adults, young people, children and wheel chair users
  • Material to be MDF or similar
  • Thickness to be between 6mm – 12mm
  • Size to be at least 1.8m tall and 1.6, wide (Remember the artwork will have to be delivered to the festival)
  • Secure stand or feet will be required
  • Materials and expenses will be covered
