We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
The local authority will be implementing a new Early Years Inclusion Funding model from April 2019.
This will extend the allocation of Early Years Inclusion Funding (EYIF) to eligible 3 and 4 year olds with SEND in schools (funding is currently available for eligible 2 year olds in schools). Funding will be available to pilot schools from Easter 2019.
The local authority is looking for 25% of eligible schools to take part in a pilot after Easter. If you are a nursery school, primary school with a nursery or primary school with a nursery and 2 year provision then you can apply to be part of the pilot. Expressions of interest should be sent to earlyyearsinclusionfunding@bradford.gov.uk by 03/05/19. Expressions of interest need to include; name of the school and lead contact details; confirmation that participation in the pilot has been agreed by the school’s Senior Leadership Team. A representative from the school will be required to attend two meetings and contribute to the evaluation as part of the pilot.
