Safeguarding Week is an annual week of learning events coordinated by the Bradford Safeguarding Children Board in collaboration with the Safeguarding Adults Board, Domestic Abuse Partnership, Health and all our multi-agency partners.

The key purpose of the week is to provide a range of learning and development opportunities for staff and volunteers working in the sectors of safeguarding adults, domestic abuse and safeguarding children.

Safeguarding Week Proforma

This year we have a new online events programme and booking system.  If you are planning to host an event please see the link below:

Once your proforma has been submitted our team will check and then upload it on our online Safeguarding Week Programme of events.

The online programme of events will shortly be made available so sessions can be booked.

Woking more with people in our communities

Whilst Safeguarding Week provides a range of learning and development opportunities for staff and volunteers we would like to encourage you to also raise safeguarding awareness with the wider public – people in our communities. You can do this by hosting events, information stalls and having safeguarding information available at public places – you can get as creative as you like.
