Applicants need to be voluntary or community groups, charities or not-for-profit social enterprises. Partnerships with libraries, schools or public health bodies are welcome and actively encouraged.
Projects should consist of activities (e.g. craft, sport, dance etc.) and offer food to attendees. Grant funds are to be focused on holiday periods and spent by March 2020. The funder expects the bulk of activity to take place during summer 2019.
Projects should be delivered in the most deprived areas of the district and prioritise children who are eligible for free school meals. Grants can be used to extend a current project or introduce a new activity.
