Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st May. Day 1 “Developing the mentally healthy classroom” (Monday 20th) is aimed at NQTs and ITTs. Day 2 “Developing a mentally healthy school” (Tuesday 21st) is aimed at school leaders.
Yorkshire Inclusive TSA is working with Kirklees & Calderdale SCITT, Parkinson Lane Community Primary School and Batley Girls High School to bring a 2-day Mental Health Conference on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st May. Day 1 “Developing the mentally healthy classroom” (Monday 20th) is aimed at NQTs and ITTs. The cost of this day is £73.95. Day 2 “Developing a mentally healthy school” (Tuesday 21st) is aimed at school leaders. The cost of this day is £105.39.
Professor Jonathan Glazzard will open the conference and a series of workshops will draw on the expertise of professionals who can offer practical tips as well as signpost support for developing wellbeing and resilience at all levels. Each day has been designed to support both those teachers in the early stages of their careers to help them understand social, emotional and health (SEMH) concerns and gain effective practical strategies to provide an inclusive classroom and those in leadership roles, HR and staff who support SEMH to implement a whole school strategy to promote mental health and wellbeing.
