Could YOUR students join People Together?

To be completed by: Sun 31 Mar 2019

Time: -Sun 31 Mar 2019 | Venue:

We are recruiting for 32 people for our People’s Advisory Group, which we call People Together.

People Together will be the community voice in the "Stronger Communities Partnership Board" - which oversees work in the Bradford district around all aspects integration.

The group will be representative of the Bradford district and will include people from all backgrounds and groups. Given that Bradford is one of the UK's youngest districts we are very keen to have a high number of members who are under the age of 26 years.

To apply you must be a resident of the Bradford District.  Further information can be found in the role profile, but potential candidates must be emerging leaders or connected within their community - in whatever form that takes.

Once the group has been formed one member from each constituency, and 2 young people, will be nominated to sit on the "Stronger Communities Partnership Board".

Please can you to promote this to any students (16+) that you think may be enthused by the idea of helping to build Stronger Communities across the Bradford District.

Membership of this group would not only help us to ensure young people's views are properly represented, but would also help the young person to build their knowledge, skills and confidence, as well as providing an opportunity to gain vital experience for their CVs, UCAS Personal Statements etc.

The deadline for applications is the 31st March 2019.  All candidates who apply will be invited to have a brief informal chat with a member of the team. Following these discussions the final group will be invited to a 'People Together Induction Day' in early May 2019.

To find out more about the role and to complete a 'Registration of Interest' form please visit the Stronger Communities web page.

Thank you!
