Time: -Sun 31 Mar 2019 | Venue:

Are you a teacher of MFL, Religious Education, Citizenship and Ethics who wants the opportunity to network with other motivated collaegues, and write and trail materials on social justice and sustainability issues?

Leeds DEC, is an educational charity that works with schools across West Yorkshire to educate for a just and sustainable world. See our website for more details www.globalschools.org.uk

We are looking for authors to write materials for MFL (more details can be found here) and RE/ Citizenship/ Ethics (more details can be found here).

The aim of these materials is to provide accessable, interesting and inspiring resources to equip teachers across the country to teach about issues such as climate change, responsible consumption and gender equality.

Additionally, we are looking for teachers to:

  • take part in our Working Groups
  • trail the materials that we create
  • access blended learning and face to face training on how to effectively incorporate challenging topical content (such as migration and climate change) into your teaching
