The much-celebrated Refugee Week Art Exhibition will take place from 17-22 June 2019 at Capital of Cycling, Hall Ings BD1 5SD, with the theme of Different pasts:shared future

We need exhibits, from schools in the Bradford district, for the Refugee Week Art Exhibition in June.  Work from Early Years upwards will be very welcome.

As in previous years, this will be an all-age, mixed media exhibition, with individual and collaborative work from schools, art students, established artists and groups of all kinds.

We are happy to accept mounted written work, eg poems and short reflections.  There is no selection process.

This year the theme for the Refugee Week Art Exhibition is Different pasts: shared future.  The theme can be interpreted in any way you wish.

The venue is a pop-up gallery, in Capital of Cycling, Hall Ings, right in the centre of the city.

Examples of work in the 2018 exhibition can be found at https://bradford.cityofsanctuary.org/refugee-week-art-exhibition-2016.

This is always a sucessful and celebrated event with good local media coverage and is a great opportunity for schools to showcase their artistic talent!

If you are interested in submitting work and would like an Exhibit Registration Form or would just like to talk it through, please get in touch with Mary Blacka, Bradford City of Sanctuary, on maryblacka.bcos@gmail.com or 01484 686799 or 07908 074167.
