Time: -Fri 22 Mar 2019 | Venue:

Are you looking to develop maths in your school so that your children think more deeply about maths and have a more secure understanding? Do you want to access DfE funding for this? The application window for the 2019/20 Teaching for Mastery Programme is now open with a deadline of 22nd March.

Are you a headteacher considering adopting teaching for mastery in maths in your school? Or a primary teacher interested in developing confident mathematicians in your class? Do you want to take part in high-quality, collaborative CPD which benefits you and your school?

Our recruitment is now open for the NCETM Teaching for Mastery Programme.

What does the opportunity involve?

Two teachers from each participating school join a Work Group which is led by a trained primary Mastery Specialist. Work Groups meet regularly to plan, observe and discuss teaching for mastery. In between meetings, teachers explore mastery approaches in their own classrooms and across their school.

There is no charge for participation in the programme and schools receive £1000 as a contribution to cover costs. They are also eligible to claim Financial help towards the cost of buying maths textbooks.

If you would like to apply please click here to access the application form and return to wymathshub@trinitytsa.co.uk by the application deadline:  22nd March 2019

Here is a link to a video explaining the programme and I have attached a flyer with additional information for your reference.
