This is a half day training course on the effects of developmental trauma upon the child’s ability to learn and manage the secondary school environment. This course is being funded by the Virtual School for Children Looked After.

  • The impact of developmental trauma in the classroom – how early life neglect and abuse shapes brain development and the child’s ability to learn
  • Theraplay® informed practice and its practical application to the classroom
