"Ignite" STEM Masterclasses - bringing science research to the classroom

Do you want amazing new ideas to bring your STEM subjects to life? Come along to our series of three exciting masterclasses with cutting edge researchers at the University of Bradford

The University of Bradford in partnership with Go Higher West Yorkshire is delivering a FREE Masterclass series for all staff involved in STEM learning and teaching. Bringing the latest University of Bradford research into the classroom, each twilight session will "ignite" new ideas for delivering STEM curricula. The ‘Ignite’ partnership brings together teachers, academics and employers to share STEM research, curriculum and skills knowledge in hands-on workshops, tours and insightful lectures.

The three sessions will run Wednesdays 3-6pm at the University of Bradford STEM Centre:

7th November "Mechanical Engineering in the 21st Century"

14th November "New developments in Nano and Materials Chemistry"

21st November "AI and Big Date"

Each session is unique and gives insight into University research, research facilities and ideas to take that back into your classrooms as well as fantastic networking and refreshments. Come to one, two or all three!
